Bio
Trish Engelhard grew up in a music-loving family in Fairmont, WV. Appalachian voices, strings, and folk musicians have influenced her over the year. Trish started singing and playing guitar at the Candor Free Library Story hour in 1991and took advantage of opportunities to learn more fiddle tunes and songs through Music Jams around Ithaca and the Southern Tier area of NY. She continues to play with various musical groups. Trish has volunteered for over 15 years at nursing homes, spreading a little musical sunshine and puppetry amusement.
Nora Starr grew up in Elmira, NY. Her family, and a transistor radio (LOL), were the most influential in her music tastes. Nora started performing after being invited to a jam in Watkins Glen, NY. She took advantage of many jam sessions in the Finger Lakes region, which gave her the foundation for many styles of music. She has organized festivals for more than 25 years and continues to play a variety of music with assorted groups. Her motto has always been “Foot Stompin’ Fun.”
Lisa Ann Wright is an award-winning singer/songwriter born and raised in rural upstate New York. Her music is described as “Compassionate, deep, and sometimes snarky.” A Silver Medalist in the 2019 Global Music Awards, and a finalist in the 2019 Peace Song and Awards for her bluegrass song “My Daily Bread.” She’s received three Honorable Mentions from the Mid-Atlantic Music Awards, and her album “Sweet Bye & Bye” won the Washington Area Music Award (WAMMIES) for Debut Album; her new album “Here I Am” was a finalist for the WAMMIES.
